LOFT, Athur Edwin - SSGT USAF Korean & Vietnam Veteran Member of the Baha'i Faith - Peacefully with his family by his side at Providence Care, Kingston, on October 2, 2009 in his 75th year. Loving husband of Betty (Hill) Loft. Son of the late Alfred “Jim“ and Melba (Whetung) Loft. Loving father of Jim (Annemieke), Leanne (Robert) Barberstock, Dorothy (Jack) Green and Kevin (Maureen). Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Beloved brother of Evelyn (Robert) Watts. Predeceased by brother James “Sam“ Loft. Survived by Uncle Joseph (Kathy) Whetung. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will be received at McGLADE FUNERAL HOME, on Sunday, October 4, 2009 between the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. at McGlade Funeral Home. Interment to follow in the All Saints Cemetery. For those who wish, Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or Charity of Choice in Memory of Arthur.
