TANTON, Madeline Crawford - Entered into rest at the Westgate Lodge Nursing Home, on Thursday October 8th, 2009. Madeline Crawford Tanton (Nee Ewart) of Westgate Lodge and formerly of Belleville, in her 96th year. Daughter of the late David Ewart and the late Mary Elizabeth Crawford. Loving wife of the late Dr. Clare Worrell Tanton. Step-mother to (Jennifer) Mrs. George Brunett of Beaconsfield Quebec, (Janice) Mrs. Warren Winslow of Montreal, and Phillip Tanton of Camden Ontario. Ever- remembered sister of James Ewart of Coutice. Lovingly-remembered by several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by siblings Allen, Harold, George, Agnes, Arlie and David Irving. Friends are invited to call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 68 N. Front Street Belleville, (613- 968-5080) on Tuesday October 13th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
