BRANT, Holly Lee (nee Nielsen) - 1957-2009 On October 8, 2009 at home with her family, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is mourned by her loving and devoted husband Barry, and her beloved children, Sarah and Michael. Loved daughter of Phyllis Nielsen and the late Paul Nielsen. Sister of Connie (Wayne) McIntyre, Joan Nielsen, Hal (Glenda) Nielsen, and Gail (Bruce) Evanson. Dear daughter-in-law of Helen Brant, sister-in-law of Monica Maracle, Bill (Norma) Brant, Sheryl (Peter) Anderson, Cameron Jr. (Nora) Brant, Linda (Francis) Maracle, Nora Brant, Penny (Jerome) Choma, Sherry (Trevor) Lewis and Berle (Nelda) Brant. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family in Tyendinaga and Saskatchewan. Her quiet strength, determination, courage and grace will be remembered always. The family extends its heartfelt thanks for the excellent healthcare Holly received, especially to Leslie, Georgina and Sherry. Family and friends will be received at McGLADE FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th at 11 a.m. at Her Majesty Chapel Royal of the Mohawk, Christ Church, TMT. Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery. For those who wish memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Holly.
