MYHILL, Douglas Alfred - passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital late on October 1, 2009 in his 90th year after a long and courageous battle. His beloved wife and best friend Helen of 66 years was by his bedside. Dearest father of Pamela Park (Bill) of Belleville; Robert Myhill (Shari); Geoffrey Myhill (Ann) and Penny Scissons and partner Warren Craig. Much loved Grandad to Andrew Park (Joanna Higgs) and Helen (Mike Fiset) all previously of Belleville and David (Carol), Karyn, Chris (Sandi), Geoffrey (Sylvia), Laura Myhill, Anthony and Shawn Scissons and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Patricia in England. A Memorial Service will be held October 31st at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Westport, Ont., at 2:00 p.m. where they lived for 20 years after his retirement as Director General of The Department of Supplies and Services and previously Director of the Department of Defence Production in the Canadian Government in Ottawa.
