McKEE, Harry L. - (WWII Veteran) - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Warkworth Nursing Home in his 88th year. Predeceased by dear wife Helen McKee (nee Lane). Loving Father of Gordon (Joyce) of Kingston, Wayne (Bev) of Belleville & Lyle (Carolyn) of Peterbrough. Cherished brother of Arlene Russell (Frank) of Kitchener. Predeceased by siblings Arthur (Mable) & Elmer (Clara). Devoted grandfather to Vickie Ford & Jay (Rob), Marla McKee & Robert McKee, Lori McKee & Lisa McKee. Loved by 7 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. Fondly remembered by daughter in law Cathie. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Dedicated 31 years of his life working as a Sergeant for the Belleville Police. Harry was particularly proud of his grandson Jay McKee of the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins for his major achievement. Arrangements entrusted with the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613 968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville. A private family funeral service to take place.
