VIRGINIA S. FRY Wednesday, 14 October 2009 - 12:12pm Virginia Fry (nee Pratt) passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont. at the age of 83. Virginia was born in Jacksonville, N.B. on May 17, 1926 to the late Guy and Lottie Pratt. She was united in marriage to David R. Fry on Sept. 7, 1954. After David’s passing in 2007, Virginia moved to Rainy River District to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Steve Both. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Steve) Both of Chapple Township, Ont.; son, Blair Fry (Janice Dimock) of New River Beach, N.B.; grandchildren, Lynette (Craig) Sargeant, Wayne, Gary, and Lauralee Both, Andrew Hawk, Justin Fry, and Lauren Cummings; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Lane, Carrie, and Cody. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Anna Pratt and Muriel Pratt; dear friend, Pearl Williston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, David R.; brothers, Cyril and Guy Pratt; and special aunt, Rowena MacDonald. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., with Richard Knight and Louise Carlson officiating.
