CORRIVEAU, Laurent “Junior” - At the Welland Hospital on Saturday October 10th 2009 Laurent Corriveau of Welland peacefully passed away at the age of 79. Loving and devoted husband of Yolande (Babin) Corriveau. Cherished father of Louise Kirouac (Steve), Pauline Cote (Richard), Helene Baiton (John) and Raymond Corriveau (Josee Charlebois). Dear brother of Monique Beauchamps. Laurent will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Steve (Linda), Krystle, Stacey, Jessica, Jay, Raeanne and Isabella as well as by his brothers and sisters-in-law. He was pre deceased by his parents Jean- Baptiste and Aurore and sister Gisele Gaboury. Laurent was born in Welland and remained a life long resident where he worked at the Cotton Mill and Whittings. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday in Eglise Sacre Coeur at 10am. A private family interment of ashes will take place on Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery. Vigil prayers for Laurent will be celebrated Wednesday evening at 8:30pm.
