SWEET, Mr. Norman Clyde - Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 73. He leaves behind his beloved wife Alma (Bucsis). Cherished father of Deanna (Brett), Howard (Janet), Justine (Dave) and Angela (Ron). Dear grandfather of seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Loving brother of William Sweet and uncle of David Sweet. Predeceased by his mother Minnie Parker, his sister Thelma and his step-father Lewis Parker. Norman retired from General Motors after 30 years (1993) and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 613. At Norman's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm (with visitation one hour prior) at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street , Fonthill. A private family interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613 Fonthill.
