VERVAEKE, George Joseph Alexander - At the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on October 13, 2009. George Vervaeke age 83 years, husband of the Late Pauline (Carter) Vervaeke, loving father of Ron & Beverley, Richard & Marilyn, Marie & Chuck Cormier, Dennis & Gail, Dianne & Mike Zdriluk, Debbie LaForme, Christine & Bill Zdriluk, Mary Vervaeke, & Barb Steele, dear grandfather of 27 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild, brother of Victor, Hilda, & the late Hector, Stella, Rita, Albert, Roy & Jerry . George is a retired employee of the Canadian Gypsum Company, member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church & Knights of Columbus. The Family will honour George's life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. ANDERSON FUNERAL HOMES LTD., Hagersville 7-9 pm Thursday and 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hagersville on Saturday at 10:30 am. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Caledonia.
