McCOURT, Reginald (Bud) - At North Bay General Hospital-Scollard Site on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of 49 years to Huguette Marchand. Dear father of Calvin (Sandy) of Mississauga, Michael (Michelle) of Barrie, Andrew (Marisa) of North Bay. He was a loving grampa to Mitchell, Megan and Sierra. Also survived by his sisters Betty Metcalf (Alan predeceased) of Chatham, Janice Krause (Romeo) of Petawawa, brothers; Jim (Linda) and Richard both of Elliot Lake. Predeceased by his parents Reginald John McCourt, Isabel Marcoux, two brothers Keith (Rose surviving) and Ronald (Lola surviving). Bud was an Ontario Provincial Police Officer for over 35 years with the Englehart and North Bay detachments. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time outdoors with family and friends. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Friday October 16th from 7 until 9 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday October 17th at 10 am. Donations to the North Bay General Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit in memory of Bud will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
