Gloriette CARROLL

VAIR, Gloriette (nee Carroll) - Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday October 15th 2009 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Joseph Vair. Loving mother to Carolanne Vair, the late Robert Jordan Vair, and Patricia (James) Nicholas. She will be sadly missed by daughter-in-law Bernice Vair, grandchildren Christine (Rob) Sheppard Jason (Kim) Vair, Catherine and Julie Vair, Bradley (Melissa) Nicholas, and Andrew Nicholas, and great-grandchildren Victoria, Robbie, Sam, Ty, Jordan, Allyson, and Brady. Survived by a sister Lillian Suddaby, brothers Albert and Henry Carroll, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents Irenee and Laura Carroll, brothers Leo, Roger and Norman Carroll, and sisters Lauretta White and Dora Carroll. The family will receive friends at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Rd. N., on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers being offered at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Brantford.
