SMITH, Kenneth Clifford - On Wednesday evening while attending Band Practice and after leading a devotional message to the band, Ken Smith, a redeemed child of The Lord, was Promoted To Glory from his place of worship at The Salvation Army Community Church, Simcoe, in his 58th year. A resident of Jarvis and formerly of St. Catharines, Ken is survived by his beloved wife Susan (Cook). Loving son of Mona (Bill) Moores of Townsend, formerly of Jarvis and the late Clifford Smith (1984). Doting companion and ball thrower to Lilli “My Punkin“. Father of Robert and Richard and step-sons Jonah and Aaron. Dear brother of Brenda and Martyn Cooper of Jarvis, Ron and Sharon of Mississauga and Debbie and Lee Graves of London. Proud and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ken worked for Bell Canada for over 26 years, the largest part of which was as a PBX installer. In later years, Ken worked as a gardener and “greenskeeper“ at Super Putt Miniature Golf in Niagara Falls. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Saturday, October 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at The Salvation Army Simcoe Community Church, 184 Colborne Street North, Simcoe on Sunday at 3 o'clock. At Ken's request, cremation will take place and a family interment service will be held at a later date.
