VENNE, Richard - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara, with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 54. Cherished son of Eveline and the late Delphis Venne. Loving brother of Yvon (Karen), Gaston (Claire), Ronald (Joanne) Venne, Claire (Al) Hudyma and Gisele (Ray) Tisi. Richard will be sadly missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Venne was born in Welland and remained a life long resident of the city, he worked for many years at Port Colborne Forge. In keeping with Mr. Venne's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main St, on Sunday from 2- 4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday in the Welland Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Fr. Paul McDonald officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
