GILLETTE, Thelma Vera (nee White) - died October 16, 2009. She was born in Niagara Falls on July 26, 1923 to Albert and Edith White. On June 10, 1944 she married Gordon Avery Gillette (2007). Thelma was a wonderful mother and best friend to Donna Jean Murray and her husband Red Murray. Nana to Carolee Penlington (Jay) and David Brennan and great grandchildren Tricia and Andrew Penlington. Loving sister to June Holt (Brantford) and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She worked as a legal secretary, and was active in Home and School and Drummond Hill Church. Special Thanks to the caring staff at Millennium Trail Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, would be appreciated and may be completed at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 905-354- 5614. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 7, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Drummond Hill Church, 6136 Lundy's Lane Niagara Falls.
