SORLEY, Neil C. - Passed away peacefully at the IOOF Home in Barrie on Sunday October 18, 2009 after a long fight with cancer. Neil Sorley, loving husband of Audrey (Bunny; nee Caswell). Father of Christopher (Anne Robins) of Aurora, Daniel (Karl Kohnen) of Aurora and Laura Lee (Stephen) Thompson of Hillsdale. Special grandfather of Claire, Brier, William and Aundrea. Neil is also survived by his sisters Margaret Sorley and Isabelle Hume and brother Rev. Jim Sorley. Predeceased by his brother Hugh. Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie (just north of Cundles Road) on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Donations made in Neil's memory to Hospice Simcoe, Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
