Leroy HARRIS

HARRIS, Leroy - With his family by his side at Copper Terrace, Chatham, on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, Leroy Harris, age 75 of Chatham, beloved husband of Shirley (Leschyshyn). Born in London on January 13, 1934 son of the late Leone and Hubert Essery Harris, he retired from Siemen's with perfect attendance. He will be sadly missed by: his loving children, Karri Hyatt (Royce), Kathy Lucio (Pat), Karla Harris, Michael Harris all of Chatham and Kristi Blair (Roger) of Brampton , a host of grand and great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Ed Harris of Bothwell, Alfred Essery (Hope) of Chatham and Fred Essery and Sue Essery of Windsor and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Murray (2001). Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, and again on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in The Hinnegan-Peseski Chapel, on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Sharon Grainger of Praise Fellowship Church and Rev Albert Lambkin of the Baptist Church officiating.
