REYNOLDS, George Edward “Ted“ - Peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 74, after a brave battle with cancer. Loving, devoted husband and best friend of Eleanor; cherished father of Charlene Dunford (Randy), Tim (Maureen) and Ted (Gail); adoring Poppa of Marlie, Caitlyn and Courtney and devoted KooKoo to Samantha. Predeceased by his parents George and Grace and sister Eleanor. Survived by his brothers Ken (Doreen), Len (Maxine) and sister Gail Rhodes (Paul). Ted worked as a crane operator for Wayne's Crane and just prior to his retirement, for the St. Lawrence Seaway. Ted loved to bowl and spent many hours perfecting his game a Cataract Bowl. He had a love for hockey, coaching minor hockey in Merritton for many years, and could still be found supporting the Merritton teams this past hockey season. He enjoyed the game of golf and was lucky to have achieved the ultimate, a hole in one. Family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will take place at St. James Anglican Church, 405 Merritt Street on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre (St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation) Memorial tributes may be made at www.mem.com.
