GAMSBY, Claudette M. (nee Francis) - Died October 30, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 6th, 1951 in Montreal, Quebec she grew up and lived most of her working life in Sudbury, Ontario. She moved to Savant Lake in 1993, spending 10 years in various communities of the area before recently settling in Thunder Bay, Ontario. In August, she moved to Brantford, Ontario, to spend time with her two sons and granddaughter. Surviving are her two sons, Daniel Gamsby and Patrick Gamsby; common law husband, Henry Belmore; mother Flore Francis; brother Claude Francis, 2 granddaughters, Ashley St. Pierre and Gabrielle Gamsby and grandson Andrew. She is predeceased by her husband, Peter Gamsby, and father, Leonidos Francis. A memorial visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6th at JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury.
