COPELAND, John Lloyd B.SC.F - Died quietly at home in Elmvale October 19, 2009 in his 71st year. John was raised in Elmvale, attended St. Andrews College and The University of Toronto. He worked in Forestry and Forest Conservation, Copeland Milling Ltd., and Langford Marine, (and a variety of other ventures.) Former husband of Janet Copeland, brother of Elizabeth (Richard) Howe, father of Jennifer M. Copeland, Martha (Bill) Oughtred, Cameron (Elspeth) Copeland and Anastasia Wheeler, grandfather of Kristie, Read, Paisley and Erin, close companion of Dorcena Nixon and colourful character/friend to many. Visitation will be at LYNN-STONE FUNERAL HOME, Elmvale, Thursday, October 22, 7-9pm and Friday, October 23 from 1-2 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
