DOUGLAS, Marion (Russell) - Suddenly at the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus on Tuesday October 20, 2009. She was 87. She leaves her loving husband of almost 56 years, Gerald “Red“ Douglas. Dear mother of Leona Primeau, Lawrence Douglas (Susan) and Marie Lafleche (Greg). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren Kim, Tracy, Shawn, Dwayne, Lindsay, Matthew, 2 step grandchildren, Matthew and Melanie and 7 great-grandchildren Kyle, Tyler, Kyra, Zachary, Ethan, Emily and Austin. Predeceased by her husband from a previous marriage the late Edward Primeau Jr., her parents Arthur and Maud (Gallinger) Russell and one brother Ross Russell (Hortense). Friends will be received at the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from City Hall) Cornwall, on Monday from 2 - 4 p.m & 7 - 9p.m and on Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday October 27, 2009 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 11a.m followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
