HORST, Roelfien “Roely” - Peacefully on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at the Victoria Village Manor, Barrie, Roely Horst, age 84, formerly of St. Marys and Hamilton and The Netherlands. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Doody, of 46 years (1994). Dear mother of the late Jeannette Fyfe (1996) and Rick Horst and his wife Karen of Barrie. Mother-in-law of Jim Fyfe of Niagara Falls, grandmother of Lisa Fyfe of Bayfield, Alan Fyfe (Amanda) of Niagara Falls, Casey Boreham (Brian) of St. Marys, Mark Timbers (Theresa) of Thunder Bay, and Scott Timbers (Kristen) of Barrie. Great-grandmother of Blake, Kirk, Grayson, Amelia, Olivia, McKenzie and Alana. Predeceased by her sisters Riek of Holland, Ida of Hamilton and a brother Meindert of Holland. Also survived by a nephew, Jack Dyk and his wife Evelyn of Hamilton and their children, and many nieces and nephews in Holland. Roely was a long-time member of St. Enoch Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, St. Marys Presbyterian Church in St. Marys, and most recently of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Barrie. Visitation will be at the ANDREW L. HODGES FUNERAL HOME, 47 Wellington St. South in St. Marys Ontario (519-284- 2820), on Sunday, October 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the St. Marys Presbyterian Church, 147 Widder St. East in St. Marys on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the St. Marys Cemetery.
