Sam Bernard SERABIAN

SERABIAN, Sam Bernard - Passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, in his 78th year. Loving father of Monika Serabian; (St. Catherine's). Survived by sisters Rose Ajemian, (Los Angeles, Cal.); Doris (Edward) Novak; and Pauline (Jack) Poladian; of Brantford. Sam will be missed by grandchildren Dylan and Trinity; nieces Rosie, Sonia, and Jacqueline; and nephews John and Barkev. Special friend of Bernice Howes and her family, and to Margarethe. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Lucy Serabian, and sister Victoria Truman. He served in the United States Army from 1955 - 1960. He was the owner of the Austrian Village Inn for 28 years. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, on Tuesday from 7 - 9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 1 P.M. in the chapel. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in Sam's memory may be made to the Brantford General Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital (Hamilton) or the Charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
