CLEATOR, Gordon H. - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on October 22, 2009 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Mabel Cleator (Matthews). Loving father of Susan Beaty and loving grandfather of Lance Beaty. Survived by in- laws Bernice Cleator, Florence Allen, Winnifred Irvine, Don Matthews, Shirley (Howard) Pettigrew, Barb Rutherford, and many nieces and nephews.Predeceased by brothers Doug, George, and Reverend Canon Kenneth Cleator. Gordon served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 6 years during World War 2. He worked for 41 years with Cockshutt Plow/ White Farm Equipment, rising to the position of Vice President Marketing and Sales. Gordon was an avid golfer and curler, serving as president of Northridge Retirees Golf Association and Brant Senior Curlers Association. A special thanks to the CCAC, Eric and Deanna Blair and Dr. Doris Ullman. As per Gordons wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
