HIGGINS-BECKETT, Sybil Heather (nee Wright) - A resident of Chatham, Heather Higgins-Beckett passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the age of 84. Born in Worthing, England daughter of the late Reginald and Sybil (Cole) Wright. Wife of the late Gerald Higgins (1978). Dear mother to Gerri Lynne Jones of Georgetown, Reginald Charles Higgins of London, James Walter Higgins and his wife Wendy of Chatham. Proud grandmother to Chris Jones (Melissa), Kelly Jones (Denise) Jeffrey Higgins (Heather), Jeremy Jones (Amy) and Craig Higgins, and great-grandmother to Cody, Kaitlyn, Aiden, Brandon, Ethan and Jocelyn. Sybil is survived by her two brothers and pre- deceased by her sister. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home- 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Wendy Higgins officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
