TOWNSEND, Alma B. - A resident of Rondeau Park and formerly of Windsor, Alma Townsend passed away at the Village, Blenheim on Monday, October 26, 2009 in her 94th year. Born in Colchester, daughter of the late Murdo M. and Belle E. (Wright) McLean, and step-daughter of the late Bell (Anderson) McLean. Beloved wife of the late Walter H. Townsend (1993). Dear mother of Thomas M. Townsend and his wife Karen of Rondeau Park, and Diane Mott of Aylmer and her late husband Frank (1996). Grandmother of Melanie Townsend and her husband Troy Ouellette of London, Heather Sleegers and her husband Tim of Aylmer, and Karen Mott of Kitchener. Sister of Donald and Roberta McLean of Harrow, Allen and Evelyn McLean of Harrow, Murray and Wilma McLean of Harrow, and the late Ray McLean, Shirley Herriman, and Leah McDonald. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday, October 29 from Noon until 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
