DEWAR, Doris Catherine (Shellington; Smith) - Sadly we announce the death of Doris Dewar, age 84 on October 26, 2009. “Do“ leaves her devoted husband of 38 years, Fred Dewar. She is the dear mother and friend of her children, William and Pamela Shellington; Bonny and Peter Vicano and Brian and Sandra Shellington. Proud Grandmother of Michael and Verna- Lise Vicano; Paul, Nicole and Marc Vicano; and Lisa and Erin Shellington; Great- Grandmother to her sweetie, Ella Vicano. Dear step-mother of Bonnie Hardy and family of Renfrew, Ontario. “Do“ is loved by her two sisters, Carol Bejian and Beverly Borman and her husband Bob. She has two sisters-in-law; Blythe Shellington and Inis Price. Doris was pre-deceased by her first husband, Clarence Shellington (1969) and her brother, Victor John Smith (1986). Many nieces and nephews enjoyed her friendship. Friends will be received at HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford on Wednesday, October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 29 at 11 am. Internment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Burford.
