HOLECEK, Vlasta “Val”- At her childhood home in Chippawa, on October 25, 2009 at the age of 69. Dear sister of Frank Holecek of London, Ontario. Daughter of the late Peter and Mary Holecek. She will be dearly missed by her many friends. Val was employed with the Norton Company her entire career as an executive secretary. She was an avid gardener and could be found many days working in her garden. She was also an active member of Sacred Heart Church. Val is resting at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street where her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 pm. Prayer Vigil will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your choice of the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Hospital for Sick Children, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
