KEWAGESHIG, Gordon Rupert “Buster“ - at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Sunday October 25, 2009. Buster Kewageshig of Saugeen First Nation #29, in his 74th year. Husband of the late Pauline Kewageshig, nee Johnston. Loving father of Gordon Jr. and his wife Mary, Rod, Cynthia, all of Saugeen First Nation, Judy and her husband Steve Chapman of Southampton, Jennifer Henry and Paula Besito, both of Toronto. Also survived by his son-in-law Jim Besito. Dear brother of Morris, Catherine, both of Brantford, Elaine and her husband John Wayne Tanner of Point Clarke, Martin and his wife Noreen of Ipperwash, Leonard and Willard, both of Saugeen First Nation. Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his extended family. Predeceased by his son Ted, his brother, Lawrence and by his sister-in-law, Eva. Buster was very proud of his Traditional Lodge, Ceremonial name, “White Otter“, and was privileged to have kept the fire burning at Rain Dance Lodge. He will be missed by his friends of the church and community. Visitation from the Wesley United Church, Saugeen First Nation, on Wednesday October 28, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Church on Thursday at 11am. Interment Village Cemetery, Saugeen First Nation. Expressions of Remembrance to the Wesley United Church.
