ASHWORTH, Richard James - Suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday October 26, 2009 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Jane Byron. Dear father of Satin, Richard, Greg, James, Daniel, Barbara Ann and Charmaine. Dear grandpa to many grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of Jean Chalamet and predeceased by his sister Grace Golden. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Richard was a 27 year employee of the Brantford General Hospital. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL“ 96 West Street on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday October 30, 2009 at 3 p.m. Followed by cremation.
