HARRISON, John William - Suddenly on Saturday October 24, 2009 at his residence in Wasaga Beach at the age of 81. John, beloved husband of Judith. Loving father of Yvonne Marie and her husband Thomas Fee. Cherished grandfather of Adam and Ian Fee and great granddaughter Kielly Jordan Fee. Dear brother of Roy (Lil), Eleanor (Bill Rowntree) and Ron (Doreen). Brother in law of Rikki (Dieter Timm), Gudrun Sawerthal and Inge Sawerthal. John will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Catherine Harrison. John loved to work with his hands, expressing his artistic ability through the fine arts and woodworking. He enjoyed his membership in the Beachcombers Probus Club. Friends will be received at the CARRUTHERS & DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME - Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, (East of Zoo Park) Wasaga Beach (1-888-429- 8766) from 1 p.m. on Wednesday October 28, 2009 for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o'clock. Reception to follow. Remembrances rather than flowers to the General & Marine Hospital Foundation, Collingwood or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by John's family.
