CROMWELL, Betty Pauline (nee Clark) - Passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Tuesday October 27, 2009, in her 77th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of the late Roy Cromwell Jr. (2003). Treasured mother of Judy Koskela (Ray), Annie MacPherson (Alfred), Hope Roberts, Marion Hall (Daniel) and the late Charles Cromwell (2001) and his surviving wife Brenda (John Campbell). Betty is the loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Violet Wale (George). Predeceased by her sisters Mary Lickers, Ethel Petrie and by her brothers, Wilfred “Red“ Clarke, Thomas and Pete Clark. Betty volunteered her time for many years knitting for children and will be fondly remembered for giving gifts at Christmas time to those in need. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10 am.
