BRENNAN, Howard Sr. - Passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Welland Hospital in his 80th year. He is survived by his two sons Douglas Brennan and Howard Brennan Jr. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Nancy, Clinton and Jeff and a great-grandson Keegan. Howard will also be missed by his brothers Leonard (Betty), Lloyd (Ruth) and Gordon (Sheila) and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 41 years Margret Brennan. Howard was born and raised in Port Colborne. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and bowler. Howard was a Mason and a volunteer firefighter in Welland. He also belonged to the Canadian Trotting Association. At Howard's request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Chapel with Rev. Dave Spengler officiating. A private interment will take place at a later time. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
