WALLIS, (Mary) Ruth (nee Firth) - peacefully at the John Noble Home, Brantford, on October 28, 2009, (Mary) Ruth Wallis in her 83rd year. Loving Wife of Gordon for 60 years. Dear Mother of Debbie of Waterloo, Carol of Brantford and David (Guy Paquin) of Ancaster. Loving “Nana“ of Matthew Rooney (Ruth), Kate Rooney (Mike), Hayley Rempel, Kaylea Hargreaves (Jake) and Amanda Hutchinson (Kevin). Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Eloise Turner (Robert), Dianne Evans (Dave), Donald, Ken, Evelyn, Nancy and Gary Firth. Beloved sister-in-law of Robin Wallis (Mary) and Ted Wallis (Millie). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Johnny, Cyril and William Firth, Blanche Hatcher and Dorothy Maheux, all of Welland. Caring mother-in-law of Frank Rooney, Paul Rempel and Bob Hargreaves for many years. Faithful member of St. Mark's Church Choir and Ladies' Guild. The family wishes to express its deepest appreciation to the staff of the John Noble Home for their years of dedication and support.
