Doris Irene PLATO

MARTIN, Mrs Doris Irene - passed away peacefully at Bella Senior Care on Thursday, October 29, 2009 with her family by her side at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Frank (1995). Loving mother to Daniel (Sandra) of Welland, Bruce (Brenda) of Thorold and Karen of Welland. Cherished grandmother to Brian, Kate, Trevor and Kelsey and great grandmother to Alexis, Cheyanne, Shawna and Noah. Dear sister of Wesley LeRoy Plato (Orma) of Niagara Falls and the late Viola House. Doris will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm where a funeral service to celebrate Doris's life will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Fonthill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara.
