Nora Chaput CHAPUT

MAINVILLE, Nora Chaput - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Nora Mainville at the CSSS de Gatineau, on October 29th, 2009 in her 89th year. She was the daughter of the late Honore and Mary Chaput and loving wife of the late Lionel Mainville. Nora was the beloved mother of M.J. (Rachelle), Lucille, Raymond (Doreen), Eliane (Ron) Lamarche, Normand (Carole) and Andree (Tony McGlennon) Carriere. Dear Memere to 13 Grandchildren and precious Grand-Memere to 17 great-grandchildren. She is survived by brothers Raymond (the late Priscilla) and Rheal Chaput, and sisters Carmen (the late Art) Presseault, Rejeanne, and Marguerite (the late Duff) St-Cyr. Predeceased by her loving son Marcel (Beline), son-in-law Yves Carriere, brother Rolland (Fleurette) and sisters Francoise (Wilfrid) Chaput and Laurette (the late Art) Turner. Nora was a symbol of courage and a great inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, her humour and her zest for life. Visitation at PERRON FUNERAL HOME in Temiscaming, Que. on November 1st, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Ste-Therese, Temiscaming, on Monday, November 2nd at 11 a.m. Contributions to the Canadian Arthritis Society or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. 11719165
