LEONARD, Pauline Claire (née Bruyere) - Mrs. Pauline Leonard at the Intensive Care Unit, Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus on Tuesday October 27, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Loving wife of thirty years to Herb Leonard of Cornwall. Dear mother, by a previous marriage, of Suzanne Anderson and Jacques Miner (Kim). Also survived by her 6 grandchildren Matthew, Ryan, Celine, and Alex Anderson of British Columbia, as well as Ashley Lalonde and Cody Miner of Cornwall. She leaves four living siblings: Raymond Bruyere, Armand Bruyere (DesAnges), Noella Lanois (George), and Paul Bruyere (Denise), all of Embrun; and Simone D'Aoust (Leo) of Ottawa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her extended family Marion Younan (Dan) and their children Jacob Younan and Natalie Lapierre (Mike); as well as their children Sadie, Sarah and family. Predeceased by her parents Pierre and Victoria (Potvin) Bruyere; her brothers and sisters André Bruyere (late Gloria), Gérard Bruyere (late Adela), Edna Brisson (late Edgar), Maurice Bruyere (Guitha), and Cécile Durocher (late Roland). Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-3:45 PM. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday October 31, 2009 at 4:00 PM. Committal at a later date in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault, Ontario.
