FOLLETT, Norma Claire - At home in Edmonton on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Norma Claire (Brisebois) Follett, born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec on July 17, 1946 and raised in Cornwall, Ontario. A talented pianist, Norma was a childhood performer on Cornwall radio, and during her music studies at McGill University performed many recitals, in concerts, and as an accompanist, and will be especially remembered as a teacher of music to many Cornwall children. Norma was a homemaker in later years. Devoted daughter of the late Jocelyn Joseph and Jeanne Marie (Mercier) Brisebois of Cornwall. Beloved wife of William Todd (Bill) Follett and dear daughter-in law of Ellen and the late William Edward Follett of. King City, Oregon. Loving God-Mother of Jocelyn-Jan Turner, John Law and Moira Law, dear sister of Kelly-Lynne (Jean Plamondon) of France, Carole (Andrew Turner) of Langley, BC, Joanne (John McDonald) of Ottawa, Ronald (Maureen Morris) of Cornwall and sister-in law of Todd (Monika Grosselfuenger) Follett of Richmond, B.C.. Will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Daniel, Dominique, Joseph and Molly Brisebois, Jocelyne-Jan and Eric Turner and Sébastien, Laura and Alix Plamondon, and Matthew and Thomas Follett. Visitation at CONNELLY-MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton, Tuesday, November 3 at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples 10821-96 Street, Edmonton, Wednesday November 4, at 1:30pm followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 124 Street.
