JUBENVILLE, Rebecca Leah (nee Simard) - A resident of Dover Township and formerly of Tilbury East Township, passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the age of 90, with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Edos & Rose (Odette) Simard. Predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Vernon Jubenville (1989). Rebecca graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital, Chatham as a registered nurse. Sadly missed by her daughter Becky Anne and Ben Lawton. Mémé will be forever missed by her grandchildren Lisa & Steve Miller, Donna Jubenville, Celeste Lawton, Ben V. and Andrea Lawton, and Ashley Lawton. Mémé will also be missed by her great- grandchildren Alicia, Shannon and Shauna Miller, Kyle and Erik Standaert, Erin and Megan Lawton. Rebecca leaves behind her sister Madeline Meades, sisters in-law Jean Quenneville, Marie Cadotte and Lucille Simard, and her brother-in-law Ted Caron. Predeceased by her son Terry and Evelyn Jubenville and siblings Edgar Simard and Pauline Campeau. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon, Chatham on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Choice are appreciated.
