SAMAAN, Michel 1923-2009 Peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on October 1, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Marie Fakany. Loving father of Laila (Emad Istefanos), Susan, George (Regina Khoury) and Nadia (Nicholas Accad). He will be missed by his grandchildren Stephen, Andrew, George, Matthew, Jonathan, Rebecca, Tiffany, Mitchell, Christopher, Michael and Victoria, his brother Mitry (Violet), his sister Mary (Youssif), as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Friday, October 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555 Jean-Talon E., Montreal, on Saturday, October 3 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cedars Cancer Institute or St. George Antiochian Church would be appreciated.
