MILES, Rita (nee Billard) Peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the age of eighty-eight. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Rupert. Loving mother of Donald Miles (Connie) of Sydney, Australia, Terry Miles (Brenda) of Kelowna, BC and Cheryl Goldring (Rick) of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Coco, Emily Miles, Joanna Lige and Sarah, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Jessica Reid. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Adam Reid-Wong and Sabine Lige. Dear sister of Phyllis Billard of Halifax, NS and Woodrow Billard of St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW) Burlington (905-632-3333) on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow.
