LEACH, Bill, Lt. Col (ret'd), KStJ, CD. Canadian Army (1932 - 1966) Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps Peacefully in his sleep at the Hospice at May Court on Friday, October 2, 2009, aged 93 years. Veteran of WW II operations in the North West Europe theatre. Beloved husband of Beatrice (Maidment), loving father of Bill (LGen (ret'd)) and daughter Karen. Dear grandfather of Kim, Shelley, and Marc (Celine Perrier). Proud great-grandfather of Jamie and Jenna. Uncle to Roy, Gerry, May and Margaret. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date to be announced.
