MURRAY, Rene Rose, RN (Ret'd) 1941-2009 It is with much sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother on October 2nd, 2009 at the Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by loved ones, after a long illness. Rene is survived by her loving and caring husband of 43 years, Phil and will be dearly missed. She will be remembered and cherished by her children Nanci (Brian), Keri (Gary) and Tim (Jennifer). She was the adored Gramma of Hailey, Meghan, Alex Rose, Ben, Andrew and Robbie. At Rene's request, there will be no visitation, funeral or memorial service. A private celebration of Rene's life will be held in the near future in Ottawa. A Christian burial of ashes will take place at a later date at the RCMP Cemetery in Regina. Arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, Ottawa. Flowers most gratefully declined but in Rene's memory, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 10/5/2009
