LEVIA, Nelson 1919-2009 Passed away peacefully at the Northcrest Care Centre in Delta , BC on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Agutter. Loving father of Jim (Josilyn), Fred (Jan) and Mary (Willy). Cherished grandfather of Kelly (Mike), Dawn, Michael (Tanya), and Vicky. Great-grandfather of Nicole, Sarah, William, Alexander and Leah. He will be missed by his brother Ralph (Ruth) of Red Deer, Jim (Millie) of Ottawa and his sister Joan of Florida. He was predeceased by his brothers Harry (Jeanine), Wilfred (Margie) and sisters Margaret and Dorothy (Maynard). He will also be remembered by his many nephews and nieces. Nelson lived in Montreal until 1986 and was a conductor on the CNR for over forty years. He was a decorated veteran of the Second World War. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and as a possessor of a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Valley View Funeral Home, Surrey ,BC (604-596-8866) where service and burial will take place on October 8th.
