OWEN , Thomas October 12, 1931 - October 5, 2009 Thomas Owen passed away October 5, 2009 at Southwood Care Centre at the age of 77 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife Jean of fifty-six years; children, Kenneth Owen (Carolyn Downie) of Yahk, BC, Debralee Scheurer (Gordon) of Abbotsford, BC, Gregory Owen (Lori Garbutt) of Calgary, AB, Tracy Butterfield (Allen) of Airdrie, AB, and Cindy Cappadocia (Dean) of Innisfil, Ont.; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Mary Ann Watson of New Zealand and many more family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Airdrie Chapel, 1504 Main Street, on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca .
