CAMAIANI, Violante (nee Mariani) 1933-2009 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Violante (Iola) on October 7, 2009 after a lengthy battle with ALS. Iola leaves to mourn her husband Cesare and her daughters Margherita (Nicolas), Luigina (Steven), Linda (Socrates), and Diana (Anthony), her grandchildren Maria-Vanessa, Elena, Spencer, William, Isabelle and Sebastian, her brother Umberto (Vincenza), sisters and family in Canada and Italy. Iola will also be remembered by many friends and neighbours. The family would like to thank the NDG CLSC and the staff of the Montreal Neuro for all their support. Viewing will be held at: on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held at St. Monica's Parish (6405 Terrebonne, Montreal) on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
