HEBERLING , Jeffrey Spurrier A life well lived, but far too short. Jeffrey Heberling started a new journey October 6, 2009 at the age of 43. He leaves cherished memories with his wife and soulmate Laura, and children Stephanie and Cody of Rosebud. Special history with his mom, Stella Heberling and sister Brenda-Lee and Kevin Wilson, all of Strathmore. Shared his joy of farming with his nephews Ethan and Lane Wilson, also from Strathmore. Touched the lives of Murray and Paulette Dale, Caroline and Rod LaPointe, and Tamara and Joe Ternes, of Calgary and Okotoks, with his love for family. Always there to entertain with food and fun and help his family and friends, of which there are many. Jeff's new journey now takes him to join his dad Duane Heberling, where they will together admire their families. Jeffrey started his life journey February 9, 1966, growing up in Rosebud. During his 43 years, he accomplished and shared so much with so many. Living and loving the land he grew up on, brought him back as an adult to join his mom and dad in the family business of farming. Energized by the sport of hockey through his youth, carried through as he transitioned from playing to coaching and managing so many others. Appreciating the epitome of community, as he was a director for the Rosebud Gas Co-op, supported the Rockyford Ag Society and Rosebud Fire Hall, and stepped up anywhere else he saw the need. Intrigued to see other parts of the world, he traveled many lands and always planning the next adventure. And the "host with the most", with his love to entertain with food and fun. A Celebration of Jeffrey's life will take place at the Rosebud Evangelical Covenant Church in Rosebud, Alberta on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations can be made in Jeff's name to the Rosebud Fire Association (Box 602, Rosebud, AB T0J 2T0).
