KLYMCHUK , John 1928-2009 John Klymchuk passed away at the Carewest Sarcee Hospice on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the age of 81. John will be lovingly remembered by his children, Doug Klymchuk and Michele (Darren) Kitzan; six grandchildren: Daniel, Christopher, Andrew, Shaun, Krystyna and Kaelyn; one great-grandchild, Taylor; two sisters and one brother, Pauline (Jack) Kenton, Eugene (Irene) Klymchuk and Alice Graham; and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his wife Tonya and six brothers Bill Wawaruk, Metro Wawaruk, Steve Wawaruk, Russell Klymchuk, Orest Klymchuk and Ernie Klymchuk. John spent his life owning and managing a number of hotels throughout Alberta. He thoroughly enjoyed sharing a drink and friendly conversation with people in each of the towns where he lived. He was an amazing dancer, avid fisherman, hunter and was always willing to give a lending hand to anyone in need. A special thank you to the Carewest Sarcee Hospice staff for their special care of John and his family these past few weeks. A Celebration of John's life will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Bowness Branch 238 (138 Bowness Centre N.W.).
