STEEVES, William Isaac In his 95th year, on Friday, October 9, 2009, seventeen days after losing his beloved wife Murdena of 61 years. Bill passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, with his family by his side, after battling pneumonia for several weeks. Dear father of Myron Steeves and Trudy Donnelly (and her husband Gord Alder). Cherished grandfather of Erin Black. Predeceased by brothers Guy and Charlie of Moncton, N.B. After retiring from the Federal Government, Bill started his own swimming pool company (Playtime Pools) and worked in that business for close to two decades. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the Civic campus and to Park Place Retirement Residence for their support and the good care provided during this very difficult time. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road) on Wednesday, October 14th after 10am until time of service in the Chapel at 11am. Reception to follow. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
