TAPP, Shirley Caroline Peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in her 81st year. Shirley was holding the hand of her loving daughter Nancy, and her dear dancing neighbour and great friend Denyse MacDonald. She was not alone when she let it go and went to a better place. She will be sorrowfully missed by her 4 daughters, Sharon, Leeanne, Cathy (Ciji) and Nancy, her 4 grand-children Larry, Amanda, Mathew and Jessica as well as her son-in-laws, Ron and David. Survived by 2 brothers Roy and Ronnie and sister Arlene. Predeceased by her sister Carol. As a family, we would like to thank nurses from We Care Home Health Services, Katie Mahoney, Jane Coleman, June Fuller and also Pam Charron. We give all our love and devotion to Dr. Tom A. Mes. We can't say enough about this gentleman and his assistant, our good neighbour Denyse. There are too many people to thank for being there for Shirley. If we missed you, we will be in touch personally. A memorial service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.) Nepean on Tuesday, October 13th at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
