MIEDEMA , Oene (Owen) October 24, 1934 - October 7, 2009 Oene Miedema, of Calgary, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Foothills Medical Center attended by his sons; John Miedema of Bozeman, Montana and Jim Miedema of Chicago, Illinois. He was 74 years of age. Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Friend. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Donna. Brother to Rienk and Johannes, Grandfather to Owen, Marika, and Annika. Father-in-law to Rebecca. Oilman, Scientist, Student. Lover of life, friendship, learning and golf. He will be missed and remembered. In lieu of flowers: support your local greenskeeper.
